Afternoon Pick-Up Your Egyptologist guide will meet you at your hotel to begin your cultural tour of Luxor city.

The Luxor Museum Widely considered one of the best museums in Egypt due to its brilliant lighting and uncluttered displays. You will see masterpieces of pharaonic art, including the magnificent statue of Thutmose III, artifacts from the tomb of King Tutankhamun, and the royal mummies of Ahmose I and Ramses I.

The Mummification Museum Located just a short walk or drive down the Corniche, this specialized museum offers a fascinating look into the ancient Egyptian art of preservation. Your guide will explain the tools, materials, and step-by-step processes used to mummify the dead. The museum houses the perfectly preserved mummy of a high priest, as well as mummified cats, crocodiles, and fish.

Return to Hotel After exploring both museums, you will be driven back to your hotel or dropped off at a local cafe along the Nile to enjoy the rest of your evening.
