Itinerary information

Day 1: Esna & Embarkation

Transfer from your Luxor hotel to the town of Esna (approx. 1 hour south) to board your Dahabiya. Enjoy a welcome drink and settle into your luxury cabin. We set sail toward El Kab, enjoying a freshly prepared lunch on the sun deck. Overnight moored beside a quiet island.

Day 2: El Kab & Edfu Temple

After breakfast, go ashore at El Kab to explore the ancient tombs carved into the hillside. Sail onward to Edfu to visit the towering Temple of Horus by horse-drawn carriage. Return to the Dahabiya for a peaceful afternoon of sailing. Dinner is served under the stars.

Day 3: The Hidden Gems of Gebel Silsila

Today we sail to Gebel Silsila, an ancient sandstone quarry where the stones for Egypt's greatest temples were cut. Large cruise ships cannot dock here, making this a truly exclusive stop. Explore the rock-cut shrines before enjoying a special barbecue dinner on the banks of the Nile.

Day 4: Kom Ombo Temple

Sail to Kom Ombo to explore the symmetrical double temple dedicated to Sobek (the crocodile god) and Haroeris (the falcon god). Spend your final afternoon sailing gracefully toward Aswan, enjoying the serene landscapes of Upper Egypt. Overnight moored near Aswan.

Day 5: Arrival in Aswan & Disembarkation

Enjoy your final breakfast on board before disembarking in Aswan. Our representative will transfer you to your Aswan hotel, the airport, or the train station for your onward journey.
