Itinerary information

05:00 AM – Departure from the Red Sea

Your private driver will collect you from your hotel in Hurghada, Makadi Bay, or Safaga. Settle into the comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle for the drive through the Eastern Desert mountains toward the Nile Valley. A rest stop will be made along the way.

09:30 AM – Karnak Temple Complex (East Bank)

Arrive in Luxor and meet your private Egyptologist guide. Begin your tour at Karnak, the largest religious complex ever constructed. Walk through the Avenue of Sphinxes and marvel at the 134 towering columns of the Great Hypostyle Hall.

12:00 PM – Lunch on the Nile

Cross the Nile River by motorboat (or drive) to the West Bank and enjoy a delicious, traditional Egyptian lunch at a local restaurant.

01:00 PM – Valley of the Kings

Enter the famous Valley of the Kings, the hidden burial ground of the New Kingdom pharaohs. Your guide will explain the history of the necropolis before you descend into three brilliantly decorated royal tombs.

03:00 PM – Temple of Hatshepsut & Colossi of Memnon

Visit the stunning, three-tiered mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari. On the way out of the West Bank, stop for photos at the towering Colossi of Memnon.

04:30 PM – Return Journey to Hurghada

Say goodbye to your guide and begin the journey back across the desert to the Red Sea coast, arriving back at your resort in the late evening in time for dinner.
